This is a vintage sweater made in the United Kingdom (probably Scotland) by Jaeger London.  The sweater is made with black pure cashmere that is knit with a tan brown and white argyle pattern.  It is made in a pullover style with a V shaped neckline and long sleeves. The neckline, cuffs and bottom are finished in elasticized ribbed cashmere.

Sizing: The label reads to fit 36”, and although this should fit a medium size, depending on preference for looseness or tightness of fit, please note the following measurements for fit:

Shoulders:  16” across from shoulder/sleeve seam to shoulder/sleeve seam

Sleeves:  25” long, from the shoulder/sleeve seam to the cuff 

Sleeve Inseam: 18 1/2”, cuff unturned

Bust: 36” around, taken under the arms, unstretched

Bottom: 23” around, unstretched, can stretch out to 34”

Overall length: 26", measured flat

Condition:  It is in very good condition with no pronounced wear, tear, staining, soiling - this sweater looks to have seen little use and was well stored over the years.
